Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research

The Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research (HIMR) is a partnership between UK government and the UK mathematics research community. It began its life in 2005, and has hubs in Bristol, London and Manchester. The Institute employs Postdoctoral Research Fellows in several UK universities, and funds PhD studentships across the UK. It supports UK-based events and focused research activities. It coordinates research activities that bring some of most outstanding individuals worldwide into the UK for visits.

London School of Geometry and Number Theory

The London School of Geometry and Number Theory (LSGNT) is a 4-year PhD programme comprising a largely taught first year followed by a 3-year research project, with approximately 50 supervisors available across Imperial College London, King's College London & University College London, with funding from EPSRC as an EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training.

The London Mathematical Society

The London Mathematical Society (LMS) is the UK's learned society for mathematics. Its purpose is the advancement, dissemination and promotion of mathematical knowledge, both nationally and internationally.
Amongst the many activities the Society carries as part of its charitable objectives, the LMS offers conference grants, workshops and training opportunities aimed at young mathematicians and early career researchers. It also provides mathematics research, conference, network and overseas visitor grants for discipline experts in both academia and industry.

Société Arithmétique de Bordeaux

The Société Arithmétique de Bordeaux is a non-profit association, mainly composed of Bordeaux-based arithmeticians. Although the publication of the Journal de Théorie des Nombres de Bordeaux is the main objective of the SAB, the association also supports the organization of conferences and symposiums in Number Theory both in France and abroad.

Journal of Number Theory

The Journal of Number Theory is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes research covering all aspects of number theory. It features selected research articles that represent the broad spectrum of interest in contemporary number theory and allied areas. A valuable resource for mathematicians, the journal provides an international forum for the publication of original research in the field.
